Immigrants can use the habilitation and vocational counselling services of the association, as well as participate in our habilitation activities.

When providing services we attempt to take the individual - including language - needs of the client into consideration. When required we also cooperate with experts in the field of immigration as well as with other officials and the families. 

The association has also arranged courses focusing on immigrants.

On issues regarding education for immigrants we cooperate closely with the class for immigrants at the Finnish Folk High School of the Deaf.

Immigrants have also been taken into consideration when disseminating information: on the ViPat- website it is possible to find information about services in Sign language in English, Russian and international sign. The Guide for Disabled Immigrants has also been published in Finnish Sign language.
