The personnel of FAD is made up of a multilingual and multicultural group. About half of the employees are deaf and half are hearing. The number of Deaf employees continues to rise. A study is being carried out in the working community of the Association itself on what constitutes a good working community from the point of view of a sign language using Deaf person.

The organization of FAD was divided into three departments on September 1st 2004. The Service Department has the sign language users as the most important customers on the variety of services like culture production and social services. Development Department is innovative, it conducts the research and projects with different partners. Under Administration Department are all the supporting services.
